I put this pack together to support my students in writing the 20 mark questions for Component 3. It contains an example written at the start of the pack by me. The pack enables students to plan and construct their first paragraph for the 20 mark questions.

These are a collection of model answers written for EDUQAS and WJEC exam questions from Component 1 and Component 3. Feel free to use them with students after setting questions as assessments or homework to illustrate how to obtain the marks.

This can be used for GCSE or A Level. I found the different pictures on the and descriptions on the internet. I did not create these. However I think it is a useful document for students to look at people, training and motivation.

I use this technique with my A Level Business studies students to remember their exam technique. Point, Impact, Cause, Consequence, However... It really helps with their Analysis

We have started to put together some new resources for the new spec of GCSE 1-9 ready for September. These are two confidence grids just using the content from the spec given by the exam board. Can be used for revision of content as you go through the course or as a checklist.

Constructed several revision clocks that can be used to revise key terms for the following PESTLE factors: Political Economic Technological Legal

Goes alongside the Year 12 Content Checklist in my shop. This maps out the year 13 content under the unit headings. The sheet can be used as a RAG activity to allow students to see where their gaps are and also allow the teacher to set revision accordingly .

Put this together for a year 12 class to revise the theories of Motivation and Leadership and how to apply to exam questions.

This is just a small resource designed to give the Year 10 GCSE Business studies something to focus on over the summer holidays. You can of course adapt the idea to suit whichever topic area. The questions are graded. This allows progression.

I created this passport to record and track any intervention for my key stage 4 students. They also discuss, agree and sign the passport and targets set. I find this works well with my year 10 more than my year 11 but we'll see next year when I have my current year 10's as 11. I set an intervention piece of week each week on top of their normal homework. It is usually an extra exam question. This is then marked with feedback and attached to the intervention passport as evidence. Good way to keep track and differentiate.

I put together this lesson for an observation with an A Level group. It is on Service Marketing. The lesson is differentiated into 3 groups. 1 being low ability and 3 being high ability. I spent a double lesson on this as the essay was the focus really and they needed time to write that. I didn't teach them anything about Service Marketing beforehand and in the end it worked well.

This project aims to give students the skills and understanding of starting up a business. Introducing the idea of enterprise and entrepreneurship. Preparation for GCSE. This project would be suitable for key stage 3 students.

This is a mock paper that I have put together using questions and case study from the OCR textbook. I have not adapted the questions. They are taken straight from the OCR textbook. It includes a mark scheme as well as a feedback marking sheet for the students skill. It worked well with my current year 12 students who sat this paper earlier this month. The questions are not mine. I have merely put together a usable paper.

I have created a series of revision mats for the new GCSE 9-1 OCR spec which are double sided. Can be given to students to identify gaps in their knowledge and understanding.

So this can be used as a starter activity to understand how to extract context from case studies. This case study is taken from one of the past papers by OCR. It uses the concept of MOOSEE to extract. If you download my other GCSE exam skills support sheet to help with MOOSEE and context.

So this resource is more of an idea than anything else but it has worked well with my Year 11 GCSE Business studies students who are completing the OCR legacy spec - Business and People paper. This I have used as part of our revision. It gives the opportunity for students to guess what the topic/idea is from the information about it and then try to create their own as part of their revision. Worked well for my lot - let me know what you think.
